Example 1: If a client wanted to reduce the amount of static electricity on a plastic film as part of a vertical from fill process, it is not a case of "one static control bar fits all purposes". Among many other variables, the amount of static in location on the plastic as well as the food stuff or fill, the distance of ionisation required etc. determines the type and output of bar that is required.

 

Incorrect specification could mean ongoing contamination of the seal or inconsistent seals resulting in costly re-runs and or replacement of incorrect equipment.
