The Meech 984 is designed to detect the presence of ions
emitted by static eliminator bars, thus verifying their
operation.
It is suitable for use with either AC or DC ionisation
equipment.
The unit is battery operated (PP3) and displays through
coloured LED's if ions are present and their polarity.
A flashing LED will indicate when no ions are present.

The 983
Static Locator provides accurate measurement of static
electrical charges. Its design enables
fast response, low drift and ease of operation.
The 983 can operate in "Continous" or "Peak
Hold" mode to record changes at the level of charge
or the highest charge detected respectively.
Applications Testing levels of static on stock and
finished products for QA purposes. Diagnosis of static
related problems.
